It’s the largest collection of Dandles you’ll find in one place. Open House favorites include:

  • New Christmas Candle Collection

  • Accessories

Your candles have become a gift-giving tradition in our family. This Christmas, three of us ended up receiving the exact same candle. An obvious favorite this year.

2025 ARITIST SERIES

FEATURED CHRISTMAS CANDLE

Collection of small tins with Christmas-themed labels featuring a bear, Santa Claus, and Christmas trees.

Christmas Candle Tins feature original watercolor artwork by Michelle Duncan. These limited edition candles are available at the Holiday Open House in November or online now.

The 2025 Arist Series candles show the storied Christmas windows of The Crescent. The former Spokane department store was a staple of downtown for almost 100 years. The Crescent’s elaborate Christmas displays were a holiday tradition from the 1950s until the store closed in 1988.

Duncan captures the magic of these Christmas widows in a scene inspired by a Spokesman Review photo from the 1970s. The Crescent displays returned to downtown during the holiday season starting in 2017 thanks to the Downtown Spokane Partnership

Meet the Artist

Michelle Duncan was born and raised in Spokane and worked in various art mediums at Ferris High School. After high school, she briefly studied commercial art at Washington State University.

Many of you know Michelle as the owner of The Party Palace on Division Street in Spokane for 30+ years. She retired in 2021, but didn’t relax for long. Michelle continues to share her talents and love of Spokane through art.

A friend in the Spokane area gave me a Dandles Candle. Now I’m hooked. The scents are beautiful, and they burn very clean.
