Dandles featured Artist Series is back with a special edition Christmas candle created for Dandles customers.

Crescent Christmas Candle Tins feature original watercolor artwork by Spokane native, Michelle Duncan.

The 2025 Artist Series Candles show the storied Christmas windows of The Crescent. The former Spokane department store was a staple of downtown for almost 100 years. The Crescent’s elborate Christmas displays were a holiday tradition from the 1950s until the store closed in 1988. Duncan captures the magic of these Christmas widows in a scene inspired by a Spokesman Review photo from the 1970s.

Most people know Duncan from her 30+ years as the owner of The Party Palace on Division Street in Spokane. She retired in 2021, but continues to share her talents and love of Spokane through art.
