Fitness influencer Cheyann Shaw fought a courageous five-year battle with stage 4b ovarian cancer. Her journey was followed on social media by hundreds of thousands of people around the globe because she always radiated grace and strength.

Cheyann never missed an opportunity to encourage and support others, even while she was battling this horrible disease.

She was a warrior who cared deeply for God, family, friends and even strangers.

She regularly told people to Be The Light.

Cheyann Shaw was the niece of Dandles Owner

Dana Haynes and an inspiration to thousands online.

 
 
  • Cheyann Shaw began documenting her life bodybuilding journey on Instagram, but her focus changed in 2016 when she was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer.

    Cheyann battled cancer off and on for five years documenting every step of the way on social media. She became an advocate for early detection, treatment transparency, and a partner for other women fighting the same battle.

    After her death in January of 2021, the Cheyann Clark Shaw Memorial Scholarship was started by the Lions Club in Chey’s former hometown of Buckeye, AZ.

  • All profits from Chey’s Light candles will go to the Cheyann Shaw Memorial Scholarship in Buckeye, Arizona.

    Profits support the 2022 - 2023 scholarship at Buckeye Union High School.

    Cheyann played basketball at Buckeye Union High School. Her scholarships will be given to female college-bound athletes.

    Three scholarships were awarded to graduates in May 2022.
